Evolution
is represented as a harmonious union of quantities and qualities that lead
to life as we know it. The Sun, shore, Moon, and tide may be taken as manifestations
of the elements: fire, earth, air, and water, respectively. The passage
of time is taken for granted. Other energies and physical realities; such
as the push and pull of the Moon which bathes and cools the shoreline,
the breaking waves that aerate the water, and forces of nature driving
the weather, as well as electrochemical attractions and repulsions; are
recognized. The gold ring encircling the cosmic mix symbolizes the evolved
person.
The Sun and Moon are widely assigned male or female attributes. The joining of the two is a potent symbol of the union of the sexes. ******Back to Codex
